Owners and guides Dave and Joe Walker aren’t just drivers — they’re winemakers themselves. With more than a decade of touring experience in the valley, they’ll share local knowledge, winemaking stories, and insider tips that make your day even more memorable.
You’ll travel in comfort in our Sprinter van while everyone in your group gets to relax and enjoy the day. We provide plenty of chilled water, and we can arrange lunch stops at wineries or local restaurants to keep the experience relaxed and flexible.
The Willamette Valley is Oregon’s largest and most celebrated wine region, stretching over 150 miles with diverse climates and soils that make each sub-region — or American Viticultural Area (AVA) — unique. On our tours, we often explore several of these AVAs so you can experience the variety and richness the valley has to offer:
Dundee Hills AVA – Known as the birthplace of Oregon Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills offers elegant wines and iconic red soils.
Chehalem Mountains AVA – A dynamic region with small, family-run wineries and sweeping vineyard views.
Yamhill-Carlton AVA – Famous for producing bold and complex Pinot Noirs with rich fruit flavors.
Ribbon Ridge AVA – A tiny but mighty area, producing highly sought-after wines from its unique marine sediment soils.
Eola-Amity Hills AVA – Marked by cool ocean breezes, this AVA produces bright, structured wines with great aging potential.
Each stop on your tour offers a new perspective on Oregon winemaking — from the terroir to the winemakers’ stories. Whether you love discovering boutique wineries, visiting larger estate vineyards, or finding hidden gems off the beaten track, our tours give you a true taste of the Willamette Valley.
$80/hour for groups of 4–11 (3-hour minimum, pick-up to drop-off)
A 3-hour trip allows for one winery visit; extend your time to explore more.
No gas surcharge.
Gratuity not included (but always appreciated).
Wine tasting fees are not included, though many wineries waive them with purchase.
How much does a Willamette Valley wine tour cost?
Tours are $80/hour for groups of 4–11 people, with a 3-hour minimum (pick-up to drop-off). Most full-day tours last around 6–8 hours, allowing time to visit 3–4 wineries.
How many wineries will we visit?
It depends on how long you’d like your tour to be. A 3-hour trip usually allows for one winery stop, while a longer day can include three or four. We’ll help you create an itinerary that matches your group’s pace and preferences.
Can you recommend wineries, or do we choose?
Both! We’re happy to suggest a mix of boutique wineries, larger estates, and hidden gems based on your group’s interests. Or, if you already have wineries in mind, we’ll take you there.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included in the tour price, but we can arrange a stop at a winery that offers food, enjoy a picnic with food you bring along, or visit a local restaurant. We’ll make sure you have plenty of options to keep the day relaxing and enjoyable.
Do we need to pay tasting fees?
Yes, tasting fees are set by each winery and are not included in our hourly rate. However, many wineries waive the fee with a bottle purchase — which makes it easy to bring home a favorite wine from the day.
What about drinking in the van?
For everyone’s safety, Oregon law does not allow open containers in vehicles. But don’t worry — there will be plenty of time at each winery to savor every sip.
